Rest Mechanics

Resting for at least an hour restores the party’s health and stamina.
During rest, characters can use certain abilities to improve the recovery or add buffs.

Rest is balanced around 10 hours healing your party by 50% health and 100% of your stamina (rounded up), and a full day of rest healing to everyone to full. A full day of rest also removes all Mounting Wounds. Conditions of the rest area might affect the amount, for example, a dark small damp cave might reduce rest effectiveness by half.

As such, each hour of rest restores 5% health and 10% stamina, rounded up. Players can choose to rest anytime.

Abilities that costs stamina still apply during Rest. For example, if you have 2/20 stamina, and rest for 10 hours, but also use 6 stamina to refill vials for your Chemist’s Satchel, instead of the full 20 stamina recovery, you get 20-6=14 stamina, after the full rest you have 16/20 stamina.

Some abilities can only be used during rest, but are highly beneficial, for example: //TODO : Add the rest abilities.

Players can choose how long to rest in 1-hour increments. for example a 4 hour rests restores 20% health
