A Saving Throw, aka a Save, is a special check to determine if you can resist the effects of an Ability, Trap, Poison, Disease, etc. Creatures are forced to make a saving throw to defend themselves against effects.
To make a Saving Throw, roll a d20 + your relevant Attribute (+your proficiency bonus if you’re proficient in saving throws for that Attribute)
To gain proficiencies for saving throws, you can use Proficiency Training.
