Attribute

A character’s attributes represent their innate talents or weakness at a certain broad range of tasks. There are 6 Attributes: Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Charisma, Intelligence, and Wisdom.

A character’s Attributes directly modifies all of their Skill Checks, and ranges from -10 to +10, with 0 being the average human, +6 being superhuman, +10 being once in a lifetime legends or monsters. These numbers should be tracked in the Attributes Section in your Character Sheet.

Example: A bodybuilder might have a Strength of +4, boosting all of their strength Skill Checks by 4, while a scrawny kid with brittle bones might have a -5, meaning he probably shouldn’t try to arm wrestle with the former.

Players determine their character’s attributes during character creation, and can buy perks to increase them as they level up. Race and Backgrounds can also affect attributes.

Note: The equivalent of Ability Score Modifiers in D&D 5E.
